Parker

We had such a fun shoot with Parker and his family! I have been looking forward to this shoot since his mom first e-mailed me in February. I love photographing 18 month olds. They have quite a personality. They are in a fun stage between being a baby and a toddler. This is specifically what Parker's mom wanted us to capture- Parker in the in-between stage.

Parker is the cutest kid! He has the most amazing eyes, super smart, and fun! His parents love him so much, seriously the love was bubbling over. I think you can see it in all of the pictures.

I had a great time with Stone and his family again! I love photographing little ones as they grow up! I also loved seeing Stiles again after his newborn pictures. Stone was so much fun to chase around. It was much different photographing him as a one year old compared to a two year old. However, I love many of the shots because I believe they speak to who he is! They show what a wonderful life he has! Thanks for letting me capture a little more of your families life!!

Korey- Senior 2009

We are home from St. Lucia! It was a fabulous trip and we look forward to blogging images from it soon! For now I wanted to share some images of Korey and finally (as promised) some pictures of the canvases I ordered.

I had the opportunity to meet Korey and his family on Wednesday. It was a great, fast session! I know he really didn't care about senior pictures, but thanks for sticking it out with me Korey! I think you will be happy with the images! Korey races four-wheelers and in the future wants to become a mechanic for large vehicles. Hope you enjoy- Now on to the pictures!

Just a few canvases I ordered for my office! I LOVE them and I think they are a fabulous investment. They are beautiful, they last more than 100 years, you don't need to frame them, they come ready to hang, and did I mention they are beautiful!!!

The first is a 20x16... The colors are fabulous!

This one is a 14x14- I love square images!

A standard wrap is not as thick on the sides. Personally I prefer the others (gallery wraps). This one is made to be framed, however, it comes ready to hang.

First, Samantha is the sweetest girl. Second, she is gorgeous! Third, she knows how to work it out for a camera. I loved this session!! I love working with seniors and seeing each ones unique personality come through. Sam, thanks so much for this session! It was great to spend the afternoon with you and your family! I also loved for farm!

I just received the canvases I ordered. I will take some pictures of them and get them posted on this post tonight! I love them, I think you will agree!

Tu-Tu precious little one!!

Isn't she so precious? I just ordered this tu-tu from tutucutebaby.etsy.com (Kaili was great to work with-thanks for a great tu-tu!) and knew I had to use it for a session! This session is a gift to this baby's mommy for mother's day. It was a fun, fun session! I loved doing some indoor natural light shooting and then outdoor. She is such a cutie with fabulous cheeks and amazing eyes! Enjoy!!

Fun wedding shoot! (part1)

What a fun I had last Wednesday on this shoot! My friend, Jessica of Lemongrass Photography, put together the shoot. We had two model couples, McNamara Florists donated the beautiful flowers, Sophia's Bridal, Tux, and Prom donated a dress, and most importantly we had so much fun! We wanted to get our creativity started before wedding season gets too crazy! I hope you like these images as much as I do!

This post is filled with lots of images! We had a great time on this shoot! Yesterday we got to spend time with sweet baby Hazel and her wonderful family. She was only 11 days old and so alert. Baby Stiles

This little one was only a week and a half old when we met him. Isn't he precious?! He was quite photogenic... he was awake for half the session and slept the other half. It was perfect! Some Winter Images

Hi All! As I have shared before this summer we have been really busy with family and friends. Jon and I spent a week in Pennsylvania with his family and a week in Cancun to relax as we began our new year! As promised I said I would share some images from the winter and even one fall session.

Hi everyone! We are experiencing website problems with our hosting company. We are working on it right now so hopefully later today the website will be working again. I have to begin by saying that these two are just so amazing! We are honored to be chosen as your wedding photographers! We cannot wait until next November!

We had a great time with Ruby and her family last Saturday. The day was beautiful and HOT!!! I went to the same high school as Ruby's mom and dad- I have funny memories of math class with Ruby's mom. I have seen pictures of Ruby online from her mom's site and always thought her eyes were so beautiful and she would be so much fun to photography... I was right! What a beautiful family!

I have been so excited to post these photographs! My fabulous friend Gracie and her wonderful husband are now married! Gracie was my roommate in college, the maid of honor in my wedding, and one of my dearest friends! I was so thankful when Gracie asked me to be in her wedding!! I was also so excited when she asked if Jon and I could bring our cameras along. The wedding was perfect in every way! The location was breathtaking! Gracie was beautiful and Adam was such an amazing groom! Jon was such a HUGE help for this wedding-- taking all the images during the ceremony and of the bridesmaid and groomsmen. We had so much fun! Busy, Busy, Busy!!!

We have been very busy lately! Since I (Kaila) am taking a full load of class this semester, 18 credit hours, we are only able to shoot 1 to 2 shoots a weekend. We want to make sure we get your images back to you quickly and that you LOVE each and every one of them, because of this we have to do fewer sessions each week.

Our September is completely booked! In October we have 2 to 3 sessions left and in November we have 3 sessions left. The first weekend of December is the cut off for Christmas pictures. If you have been waiting to book your fall session and Christmas pictures I suggest you book it now so we can get you on the books! Thank you so much everyone for making our passion such a great career!

We were so excited to spend time with our friends and capturing their love! Bobby and Emily are just wonderful people and I am so excited to watch them get married as I have watched them date throughout high school! What a blessing engagements are... We had a really fun session a few weeks ago with 5 senior guys! I loved the idea of this session for the friends to have pictures together that can be used in the future at their graduation parties and for memories to last a life time. We had so much fun! Sneak Peak...

Last weekend we got to take Josh's senior pictures. Here is just a sneak peak of the pictures because I am still editing them. We are planning another shoot with Josh soon so we can go to some downtown streets.

So we have been very busy lately! We have shot senior pictures, little one pictures, senior friends photos, maternity pictures, and we have a fun shoot this weekend! I love being busy though! We will be posting those pictures soon!

Now I will post pictures from the wedding a few weeks ago. It was a great themed wedding- A western wedding with cowboy boots and all! It as so fun and so cute. Now for the pictures...

Isn't Stone such a cutie! Although he didn't like the camera at first, he warmed up quickly and we ended up with some wonderful images! I love his overalls!

A bundle of joy...

Not long ago I was able to photograph this little guy. I think he is just too cute. He was also quite photogenic and seemed to enjoy having his pictures taken. In these pictures he is only two weeks old. I look forward to taking many more pictures of this little guy!
